Hey everyone, sorry for my absence..  October went by so quickly, actually this entire year has flown by.

First thing I want to talk about is the Cubs!!  Oh my gosh what a great World Series?!?!  Rob and I watched every Post Season game.. And we were in a bar for game 7 and it was AMAZING!!!  GO CUBS GO!!!  I am so happy for the Cubs Organization and for the city of Chicago.

Now, How ’bout them Cowboys?!?!  OMG I can not believe how well they are doing, but trust me, I know there is still a LOT of football left.  I know how my team loves to grab defeat out of the jaws of victory, lol..  But Dak and Zek are doing great.

This weekend I am headed to Chicago for the Baby Shower for my future Grandson.  To say I am excited about this little boy is a HUGE understatement.   And then for Thanksgiving Angel and her hubby Devil are coming for a week.  We will be having just 7 people for dinner this year, which is nice to have a smaller group.

A couple of weeks ago I thought I would put a pair of shoes of mine on Craigslist.  I have a pair of Tom’s wedges that Rob gave me and I had only wore them once so I figured, why not someone may want them…  so this is what transpired from my ad!  

So I am thinking this is not right!  There is no woman that is going to talk like this or randomly send some stranger pics.  I even Text Angel and was like, I think I have a guy with a foot fetish texting me about a pair of shoes.  Then I decide, let me search this number.  It was a 973 number which I knew was NJ, but figured they could be here in Az, let’s see… and in the meantime they continue to text! 

Now I’m convinced this is not a woman!!

LMAO!!  Now if this was truly the case, this person was not local as the business has a NJ address and I don’t think if your number is on the website for your business you are not going to let your sister use that phone, lol.  So after that I blocked the number and removed the shoes, I think I’ll keep them LOL.

I am in need of some assistance.  I would LOVE to find this onsie for my future grandson.  On the Peeps website they only have a 24 month size.  I am looking for anything 9 months or smaller and a color for a little boy, so this yellow or navy.  There are three Peeps Store, one in MN, PA and MD if you live near one, you are what I need!!

So, the history of the Peeps and why I want this for my grandson.  My Mom LOVED Peeps, and that really doesn’t seem to convey how much she loved them.  My older son shared that love for them with her and she would mail him Peeps at different holidays when they would have them.  My Mom passed away in Sept 2011 and I would love for my grandson to share in this love.   Plus it would be a reminder of her whenever I see it on him.

So, if you live near one of these stores and could run in and look for me, that would be AWESOME!!!

Hey guys!!  So, what have I been up to lately??  Well I had a girlfriends weekend with Angel a week ago.   She flew into town and we drove up to Flagstaff for the weekend.  We had some great conversation and LOTS of laughs.  Just love her!!!

Rob was given tickets to see Hall & Oates on Wednesday for his Birthday.  Trombone Shorty & Orlean’s Street was amazing!!!  Need to get some of his music as I loved it and he is a cutie too.

And of course, there is my latest video with DFW Knight.  I didn’t realize it had been 10 years since we last shot together.  He is a super nice guy and we had a some great conversation before the video and I told hime we should not wait another 10 years, and he agreed.

Lastly, I have decided to open my SnapChat up to anyone.  I joined the SnapChat community kicking and screaming.  Rob really wanted me to do it and I just didn’t see the benefit.  To me it was really no different than twitter and I was right.  So, with that, I will open it up and I will TRY to post more pics there.  I will interact with you there, but PLEASE don’t just send me dick pics..   My id is dawnmarieaz

Ok I think this is a first for me, lol.  I am addicted to a game on my phone!!  And I mean addicted, I find myself always playing this game.  The game is one of those that is really a no brainier games.. Toy Blast!  I think it is a lot like Candy Crush, but I never played that game, so I am not completely sure.  

Sorry y’all it has been a while since I last posted, I’ll try to be better.  I have had a crazy summer with several trips.  Last year I wasn’t really able to travel much, so I made up for it this year.  We just got back from Chicago.  We were there for a week visiting our son and DIL.  We had an amazing time at the Billy Joel Concert at Wrigley.  It was incredible!!  Our last day in Chicago, our DIL invited us to the dr with her and my son and we got to see an Ultrasound of our new grandson.  Some of you may know that I wear my heart on my sleeve and I can be a big cry baby at the drop of a hat.  I was doing good with the ultrasound and then I heard his little heartbeat and that was it.. I was crying, LOL   I will be going back to Chicago in November for the Baby Shower and then I have been asked if I could do an extended stay in January when the baby is born..  but of course I can : )

Rob and I are on the fence with a trip to Ventura in October to see the Violent Femmes.

So, SnapChat!!  I am going to open my SnapChat up to everyone.  I was not all excited to do it in the first place and I tend to forget about it.. plus I think most things I already post on twitter anyway,LOL…

I’m not sure if I have mentioned it or not, but I am a very impatient driver.   I’m not saying I am the best driver, but I will say this.. I have never been in an accident where I was the driver and I have only been given one ticket and that was in June for speeding, LOL..  Damn Texas State Troopers!!

So here are my BIGGEST Pet Peeves when I am driving.. I have a couple..

It ticks me off when on the highway and people do not drive the freaking speed limit!!  You don’t have to speed, but at least drive the speed limit.  And if cars are passing you, then you should be in the far right lane..

Next, you know when there is a sign telling you the lane you are in is ending, that means merge over into the next lane.  That doesn’t mean to drive in that lane until there is no lane left and then assume the person in the lane is just going to stop to let you in.  You DO NOT have the right of way idiot.  Pay attention and read the signs and merge safely.

Multiple turning lanes.. It pisses me off when I am turning and there are multiple lanes that turn, the person in the other lane turns and then cuts you off to go all the way to the other side.  Seriously?!?  If you need all the way over why were you not in the proper lane… ugh..

Sorry, sometimes you have to vent and today is that day!!  Driving to the studio today I encountered all of these and they piss me the hell off, LOL

Next…  I have people that consistently seek out old links where we had specials and join under those.  Now I get wanting to get the best deal possible, but using a link from 2014 that you found is not cool.  Seriously???  At the end of the day, this is a business and I think doing this is very shady!!!  I have sent through and found links and have had them killed.. so if you are one of the ones that was doing this, I do believe that I have put an end to it.  Come on, you are not only getting my site, but all the girls on Dreamnet.com and access to all the vnalive. com shows…  So I do believe it is worth more than what we currently charge, so give me a break and man up!!!  And again, I’m sorry if this offends, but you know what you are doing is not right.

I can not thank everyone enough for all the birthday wishes and the gifts, y’all sure made me feel so very special this year, THANK YOU!!

I had a great birthday and I celebrated it in Texas with Rob, Angel and Devil and we had a GREAT time.  I got my drink on and we did the Drunk Q & A and Angel had her drink on too!  This video will be on my site sometime soon.  We also did another video… “Never Have I Ever”.. and a friend of theirs asked us questions and we answered, lol.  That one will be on both of our sites in the future.

As you know we were going to the Violent Femmes show on Wednesday while we were in Texas.  It was HOT and HUMID, ugh I don’t miss not living where there is humidity…  I had my hair all done and of course it got to hot and I had to pull it up before the show even started.  We had such a fun night…

So, now I am home until the end of August when we go to Chicago!!  We are going to visit our kiddos and we are going to see Billy Joel at Wrigley Field, can’t wait for that, should be fun!!

Rob and I are going to be GRANDPARENTS!!!  To tell you that I am excited about this would be such and understatement!!  I am over the moon and can not wait to meet our little boy after the first of the year!!! #ourfamilyisgrowing #itsaboy

Hope you all have had an amazing week so far and you have something fun planned for your weekend.  We will be heading to TX EARLY Friday morning.  We will be spending a week with Angel and celebrating my birthday there as well.  We are going to see the Violent Femmes and will have some birthday drinks with my friend John since his bday is the 18th.

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful HUMP Day, hehe.. don’t you just love a holiday weekend that makes the following week shorter?  I do, although sometimes I end up getting the days mixed up.

Well it was an early morning for me today, I think I was up at 4:30.  For whatever reason, I wake up either early or I am up a for a few hours in the middle of the night, at least a couple times a week.  An early riser is nothing new to me, I use to get up at 4:30 when I worked and I enjoy the quiet morning.  But the middle of the night garbage started last year before my diagnosis and has continued.  But I guess there are worse things that could be happening.

I recently had a friend tell me that I am alway so upbeat for someone that doesn’t get a lot of sleep every night.  My response was, why be any other way.  No one wants to be around someone that is a negative Nancy all the time.  I always try to remember that there are people out there that have things a lot worse than I do.  It is trivial to bitch and moan about what I am going through and most times people have their own issues they are dealing with and don’t need to hear me.  Believe me I have my days like everyone, but I try not to pass that on to anyone else…  I think it takes more energy to be negative than it does to simply be happy.

I have several of those adult coloring books that I sometimes color in to try to keep from turning the tv on so early or even getting on my laptop.  I know what a rabbit hole those two things are and I’ll never get back to sleep.  Today since I got up early I have been reading my book, the latest Nicholas Sparks book, that is until the battery died.   I have enjoyed two cups of tea and some cinnamon toast.  Now by cinnamon toast I mean a loaf of cinnamon toast bread, no toast with cinnamon sugar on it, YUCK!  Another thing, I don’t like cinnamon raison toast.  I like raisons, but I do not want them in my food.. at all.

So how was your morning???  Do you have a routine?  Are you a morning person??

I am a very lucky, lucky girl in that I have a couple people that have spoiled me over the past couple of months and it’s not even my birthday, YET!!  My Wish List is always available and they take it upon themselves to go and send me surprises!!

If you know me at all, you know that I LOVE my Birthday and I always have!  It has nothing to do with gifts, I just love my birthday.  I have NEVER had a problem with my age, I’m going to be 51 in a few weeks, woohoo!!  I have never lied about it, claiming to be younger than I am.  I am proud of my age and I embrace it.  Like my Dad use to say, it beats the alternative of not having birthdays!

Sitting here by myself enjoying the quiet and a cup of tea.  It is a grey day, it was raining earlier, but seem as to have stopped for a bit.  I’m hopeful the sun will come out and will allow for some time to work on my Vit D levels, lol.  It has been great spending time with my family, I sure do have some great peeps!  There are 7 of us right now, my younger sister, BIL, my younger brothers fiancée (he passed last August), my nephew who is 36 and his wife who is like 42.  Wednesday my sisters daughter, granddaughter, nephew and his g/f will be here.

We really enjoyed our evening at Angels and looking forward to seeing them again on Sunday.

Hey guys, y’all know that I’m on vacation.  We drove ALL day yesterday in just terrible weather.  Rain, rain and pouring down rain.  We were paused for a few accidents, actually had a couple that think happened right before we got to them even as people were just getting out of their cars or pulled over and running back to the scenes.  With that said, we did not get to our hotel until after midnight.  I will have an update posted tomorrow, Internet willing where we are staying, that is!!

And if you don’t follow me on Twitter, you will have missed my post about Thursday.  I got my very first ticket.  Nearly 51 and this was the first time.  The State Trooper barely looked old enough to have a drivers liscense himself, lol.  I teased with Angel that I was going to do a gofundme to pay the fine, lol.  I HATE those things and the webgirls that set them up to get people to pay for things that is their own responsibility!!  Pay for my hair cut, fix my car, pay my medical bills, pay for my kids car, help with my pet stuff….this is your own responsibility, be a responsible adult and pay for your own shit!!!!  Sorry, I’ll stop ranting now, lol.

I think summer is going to hit us this week with some triple digit weather.  We have been very lucky so far this “spring”, LOL.    I have been working on my tan and it is coming along nicely.   Do you like tan lines???  We have a busy couple of days coming up.  I have blood work to do on Tuesday morning and we are shooting a scene for BBG in the afternoon.  Wednesday I have my treatment and Thursday we are on the road to VACATION!!  We are on the road and I’ll be posting pics along the way.  We are going to see www.lonestarangel.com on Thursday and then Friday heading out for the rest of our road trip and then the BEACH!!!  What are you doing to start your summer off???

Might is the word, LOL.  Some of you may already be aware of this problem.  I LOVE flip flops!!!  My new obsession is Yellow Box Flip Flops and I think I have maybe 6 pairs.  I rec’d a new pair from my Wish list last week and LOVE them, thanks Mtnman.  Have another pair that is suppose to arrive today from my wish list and two pairs on the way from a friend!!  See I said I might, hehe..  But in my defense, I do live in AZ and I can pretty much wear them year round.

Now another problem I have is with wedges, as in the shoes.  I have several of them too!!  Again, in AZ I can almost wear them year round.

Last night Rob and I had the pleasure of meeting a new friend.  A member of my site and we had a lot of fun, lots of stories and laughs!!  Thanks “O” (don’t want to give away his info, so just going with O, hehe)  for coming out to meet us.  Look forward to your next visit.

If you are lucky enough to follow me on twitter, LOL, then you know that Rob and I just took a quick overnight trip to LA.  We went to see the Violent Femmes perform at the Orpheum Theatre.  Now I remember listening to the cd Violent Femmes so many times when Rob and I were first together in the 80’s and of course hearing some of their music in different movies and such.  So to get the opportunity to see them live was something Rob and I did not want to pass up.  So we drove the 4.5 – 5 hours to Los Angeles to see them.  Let me just say, the show did NOT disappoint!!!

Rob and I got the privilege of watching the show from the side of the stage.  It was spectacular and Rob and I were dancing the entire time.  I loved that Gordon, the lead singer surprised everyone by singing “My Old Kentucky Home”!!  And to top it all off, we got to hang out with the band after the show with the band.  Friendships have their benefits sometimes and this was one..  Thanks again John, we had a fantastic evening.

Now we are looking forward to our next event on the calendar.. a trip to FL with my family in early June.   I truly hope your spring and summer are going to be as wonderful as ours..
