If you are following my weight loss journey you know it has been a steady loss for me and I am good with the progress thus far. But I will say that July was just blah for me. I was just unmotivated and really did not put much effort into my “activities”. I still was able to maintain a loss, but not a great one, lol I think it was like just over 2 pounds. But with that said, I am motivated going into August!!! I have even set goals for myself and I will post a pic below of those goals. But overall, I am happy, I’m down a total of 40.2 pounds in 23 weeks!!
Rob and I met a couple on Saturday night that are considering having a site. I think y’all would like her, she has a very fun personality, so maybe we will have a new lady on our grid in the future? Time will tell LOL
We are going to a Diamondback game tonight, invited by “civilian” friends, LOL, those are friends that know what we do, but they do not partake, LOL our tickets are apparently right next to the Dugout, we actually have to go through the dugout to get to our seats. Oh and did I mention, free food and drinks!! I’m going to take some pics to share with y’all.
Oh on a medical note, I had my quarterly check up with my Oncologist and all looks good. We have decided to do the iGg Infusion every four weeks until the end of the year. My levels are always low since doing Chemo and since I am at risk to get and keep colds and whatnot due to these low levels. We are doing it because I will be traveling on airplanes and to colder weather in Chicago. The last few times I have traveled to Chicago during cooler weather I have gotten a cold that I have not been able to get rid of without going to the dr, LOL. So this is precautionary.
Again, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all the continued support and encouragement throughout my journey so far!!!

Since I have to have Labs every 3 months, because of my Diabetes. My lab woman is oldER, the only one there that does blood draws, plus shes worked in hospitals. Given that I have – skinny – arms, (noooo offense meant!!) you’d think it’d be an easy draw. “Don’t judge a book by its cover” She doesn’t like my left arm, my veins are crooked! She has hit the vein in my right arm “first time every time”! She’s good!! So with all that said, how good or not is your Tech??
Mine are good too, typically get me first try after I apply a little heat to my arm. I typically do my left arm as I am right handed and when I have to sit there for like 4 hours I have my good hand free.
I’m a “Lefty”!! FYI.
