“Fool me once,shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” Well I have this friend that I met through twitter many, many years ago, about 6 or so. He came out to a meet and greet to meet me and is a regular at those functions. We became friends to the point that I have even had him at my home for regular parties with my friends. At a party at my old house a few years ago, while showing him the view from my bedroom balcony we made out a bit. Truly we were going to look at the view.
So we talked after that about the possibility of getting together to do more. Well, Rob goes to LA every January and I invited him over once and he was all game. The day he was to come over I never heard from him. I honestly do not remember what his excuse was about leaving me hanging. That is when he told me that I intimidate him when it comes to doing more, because of what I do and he has seen my videos, LOL. So, I told him we would get together and simply make out and move from there and take things slowly and do what he is comfortable with… So he was at a party at my house in December and I got a very nice kiss goodbye from him. After that, we talked again about getting together and he was all game. I told him Rob was going out of town this weekend and we made plans to see each other on Friday. I messaged him a few times during the day and teased him about coming up with some excuse on why he wasn’t coming and he said nope, I’m there. I got a message from him saying he was home and going to relax a bit and then hit the gym and asked if he could come over later. I told him to keep in touch with me and we will figure things out… That was the last I heard from him…
Now some of you may not know this about me, but once you get on my pissed off list it is VERY hard to get off that list.. Rob says I never forget anything and once someone pisses me off then forget it.. Well for this “friend” I am done!!!
I mean who acts like this??? If you don’t want to meet, simply say so, we are all adults and games are for children.

Today I have a fun day planned with another friend of ours, Patrick who lives in Chicago. Patrick I met through my site, like 9 years ago or so. He came out to a meet and greet to meet me and has become a dear friend to my entire family. He comes to Phx several months out of the year and we also get together and have fun. He has met my family and I have met his, even though they don’t know what I do, LOL. Patrick and his wife are even invited to my son’s wedding this summer in Chicago. Today we are going to the Cubs new Spring Training facility for a tour and then later this evening we are getting together in Scottsdale for drinks. I’m really looking forward to it as he is such a sweetheart and makes me laugh all the time.

Thanks hun… things happen, but you would hope that it is not with friends. But what else can you do but move forward…
I honestly don’t know what to say…his actions are unforgivable and cowardly. Why make plans plus the make out sessions…if you aren’t going to follow through. I’m sure that if he was uncomfortable… it could have stopped at any point before moving on. I’m truly shocked and POd because these are the actions that give men a bad name and ruin it for the nice guys. (Sorry for the rant)
Yes it is not like it is some kid, this man is in his 30’s… must be a reason he is single. Sometimes you put yourself out there just to get burned. Oh well, probably for the best.

just a fickle flake who changed his mind twice. what get’s me is why not just say?
either cowardly or inconsiderate of other’s feelings. or both! i’d rather hear I changed my mind or am not into you like I thought or not anymore or whatever. rather than ‘leading’ me on. more n more people do that now days. flakes do not make real friends at all. in fact they are HUGE piss me off people!
