So, I have a VERY busy week this week. Meeting a new friend from Twitter tonight with hubby for drinks. Wednesday I will be helping hubby do some work and Thursday is my BIRTHDAY!! Friday night is Members Cam and Saturday is pool day & dinner with my g/f Wendy and our hubbies. Going to be making marinated flank steak, which is YUMMY!!! Sunday is our last day to get things in order for our trip to Chicago.. I am SOOOOO EXCITED for this trip and my son getting married.
Last week I was sitting on my sofa with my laptop in my lap. I put the laptop on the ottoman and my kitty Tucker was laying on the floor right beside me. When I went to get up, I tripped over the cord and I either startled Tucker or stepped on him, which ever it was, he was NOT happy and decided to CLAMP down on the back of my leg. So, after two days and it was all red and swollen I went to the Dr and she put me on an antibiotic and also game me a tetanus shot. She said I didn’t need one for a cat bite, but since I couldn’t remember the last time I had one.. So for the past week have been icing my leg and putting heat on my arm. Today almost a week after, my arm is feeling better from the shot and my leg is looking MUCH better..
Last night we had our first Monsoon Storm of the season and our area actually got some rain, woohoo.. There are trees down all over the place, but we did not get any type of damage.
