If you read my blog and follow me, you know that I have had a rather difficult year. Difficult in part being I was dealt some medical issues that I had to deal with.. So after 9 months of test, scans, labs and treatments, November was the first month that I didn’t have to have any of them. Also, I have officially paid off all my medical bills. Of course I have insurance, but we had a deductible I had to meet and with that and other bills I met my out of pocket maximum that I had to pay.. There are sooooo many things I would have rather have spent the $7000 on, but you deal with the cards you are dealt. And looking at the big picture, there are a LOT of people that have things a LOT worse than I do, so I count my blessings.
Being diagnosed with lymphoma and the unexpected death of my brother, this year has taught me a lot. First being to make sure that those that you love and cherish know how you feel and know just how special they are to you.
Also, I have learned just how important it is to cut the crap out of your life. There is no place in my life for people that don’t bring something to the table.. I refuse to deal with drama and bs.. and let me tell you, I feel so much better not having to deal with it or think about it. Quality of friends is clearly better than quantity…
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend and GO COWBOYS, Romo is back and hopefully that helps us, LOL.
